Wednesday August 30
- Some of the members arrive.
Thursday August 31
- Gather and pack van at MJ’s house
- Depart to Concrete, WA @ 3:00pm/ arrive @5:00pm
- Cascade Mountain Suites - Mt. Baker Hotel
Friday September 1 - Little Devil Peak
- Little Devil Peak
- 4:30am - Wake up
- 5:00am - Depart to trail
- 5:40am - Arrive at Lookout Mount Tail, start hike
- 12:00pm - Summit Little Devil Peak
- 6:00pm - Return to van
- Cascade Mountain Suites - Mt. Baker Hotel
Saturday September 2
- Enjoy a morning in Concrete, WA
- Travel to AC Vashon Home
Sunday September 3
- Enjoy Vashon Island
Monday September 4
- Return home
Little Devil Peak
Hike Notes
- Park off of Cascade River Road
- Take Lookout Mount Tail and hike North
- At the only trail crossing, take Monogram Lake Trail and go East.
- The Lake Trail crosses Teebone Ridge, leave the trail and follow the ridgeline.
- Travel the the crest of Teebone Ridge to Little Devil Peak
- About 3/4 of the way to peak, we’ll encounter a Glacier on the SE side
- We will not cross the glacier
- We either continue on the ridge, using yaktraxs over snow and ice
- The ridge leads up to the peak, at which we’ll need to do class 2/3 scrambling up to the peak
- Helmet up for scramble
- Return back to the vehicle
